What is the story of Neptunia GameMaker R evolution? ›

Super Dimension Game Neptune: GameMaker R:Evolution) is a spin-off RPG in the Hyperdimension Neptunia series. This game follows the Older Neptune being tasked with reviving a fallen game maker with the help of three goddesses who had been defeated in the race to win the “market share” of game sales.

When focusing on the main objectives, Hyperdimension Neptunia is about 38 Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 61½ Hours to obtain 100% completion.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Generation follows on from it, and the final game in the trilogy is Megadimension Neptunia VII (that stands for V-2, not seven). After those, you're free to tackle the games in whichever order you like!

The battle system in Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory is turn-based by unit, where each character's turn comes based on their speed. Characters roam around the established battlefield within their movement range.

Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls, far and away the best. It's at least as good an RPG as the mainline games. MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies has some great character moments, but from a gameplay standpoint it's a poor-man's Senran Kagura. Pretty much.

The game is fairly hard for an HDN game, but, so long as you a familiar with jrpgs in general, is still a very easy rpg once you get the mechanics down.

It's okay to start with this game but you should also play Re;Birth 2 & 3 so that the references to past games won't fly past you.

True Ending

You must also have all characters (excluding the two DLC characters Falcom and Cave) with a Lily Rank of 4 or 5. Unlike the Normal Ending, there are 2 additional chapters after chapter 6. The True Ending can be viewed after defeating DOS Arfoire in chapter 8.

Hyperdimension Neptunia is the first game within the series, with the name originally derived from the scrapped Sega Neptune which combined the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis and Sega 32X into one unit, originally scheduled for release in 1994 or 1995 before the project was dropped after the release of the Sega Saturn.

Neptunia Victory takes place a short time after mk2, in the same universe, same continuity. Neptunia Victory II will take place in the same continuity as mk2 and Victory, but it's not a direct sequel. Rebirth 1 is its own story and continuity, without any connections to the other games in the series.

Megadimension Neptunia VIIR

How is viir different from the first game? no separate save files, the whole game is auto save. It won't have smoother framerate it be lock to 60fps just like Megadimension Neptunia VII. VIIR has no alternate endings so you only get 1 ending.

CFW is an acronym for Criminal of the Free World. It is a name given to the Deity of Sin, Arfoire who had existed in Gamindustri since ancient times. CFW Arfoire had once tried to terminate all of Gamindustri with her tremendous power.

Re;Birth 1 implements a great number of changes from the original titles release, including new music, voice acting, and systems borrowing from both mk2 and Victory, the most noticeable of which are the dungeon layouts and battle system.

The primary playable character in most of the video game titles in the franchise, Neptune is the goddess of Planeptune, and is named after and represents the cancelled Sega Neptune. She has short purple hair, purple eyes, and cross-shaped hair clips that resemble the directional keypad of the console controller.
